Joe Cole has dismissed speculation that he could be in line for a return to West Ham in a management role.
Moyes, who returned to the club last month for a second stint in charge, named the former England midfielder as one of the candidates to join his coaching staff on Thursday.
Cole told BT Sport: “There’s been no contact – nothing.
“It’s a tough one because I enjoy sitting here on a Saturday morning.
“I enjoy my spare time. Who knows what’s happening? At the moment I am happy here.”
Alan Irvine as been appointed as Moyes’ assistant manager since returning to the club and it is believed Moyes is now considering adding Cole, who made 157 appearances for the club across two spells.

Speaking ahead of his side’s controversial 1-0 defeat at Sheffield United on Friday, Moyes said: “We’re looking at the team we’re bringing together. I can’t say if we’re going to get it all together just now – it might not be until the summer before I do.
“There are several people though…and others we will have in mind as well. We have been extremely busy. It is not easy to get all those right away.
“Joe is one of quite a lot of people who we have talked about and are considering.”
