Manchester United have offered Birmingham City a deal which could reach £12.5million for 16-year-old wonderkid Jude Bellingham, it has been reported.
The Red Devils are looking to build a young and hungry side under current boss Ole Gunnar Solskjaer with a homegrown core seemingly vital.
Two clubs have allegedly had formal talks with the Blues about the England Under-19 international with Man United being one of them.
According to the Daily Mirror, the Old Trafford side would put down a large transfer fee with additional clauses taking it to around £12.5m.
Bellingham is already a record breaker having made his debut aged just 16 years and 38 days old, against Portsmouth in the Carabao Cup.

Able to play a number of roles, he’s made 17 starts in the Championship, scoring three goals and making one assist and these exploits at such a young age have alerted a number of top European sides.
Bellingham is a boyhood Birmingham City fan so in no hurry to leave the club, while having his father as an agent means a deal is less likely to be forced.
The Daily Mirror also suggest his current club are confident the player will sign a professional contract with them when he reaches his 17th birthday in June.
