Two Ohio State University American football players have been charged with kidnapping and rape.
According to documents filed with Franklin County Municipal Court, warrants were put out by Columbus police for the arrests of Amir Riep, a cornerback, and safety Jahsen Wint.
They alleged incident is said to have occurred on the evening of February 4 at the apartment the two 21-year-olds share on Columbus’ Northwest Side, USA Today report.
Ben Johnson, a spokesperson for Ohio State, said on Tuesday: “We are aware that two of our students have been arrested and criminally charged.
“They have been suspended from all activities involving the football program. We will share more information when available.”
Riep made 13 appearances for the Buckeyes last season while Wint also played 13 times.

Court documents show that Riep had not yet been served with his warrant on Tuesday evening. Wint’s situation is unknown.
